If you suffer from sadness, despair, tiredness, lethargy, grief, frustration, guilt, anger, inability to sleep, overeating, no appetite etc., the chances are that someone has given you the label "depressed" or "depression".
And that is all it is - a label. Unfortunately it is a label with a negative stigma attached, and that can lead to some of the symptoms already mentioned, which in turn brings up the label again. And so it goes on.
My approach is to help ease the symptoms and to build flexibility in the way you think about things, the way you remember the past and imagine the future, and the way you experience your world.
We don't talk about the past to find out 'why', I simply train your mind for the present, and the future. Experience has shown me that by working literally with how you think, rather than trying to interpret or explain why you have the symptoms, I can achieve rapid results. Anything else is simply too long-winded and a waste of your time and money.
My aim is to quickly help you become more resourceful in the here and now. This will help you to move away from depression, to view the past with a different perspective, and to begin to think of the future full of possibilities for feeling good, having fun, and learning.
It is time to stop asking yourself "How much more misery can I take?" and to start asking "How much pleasure can I take?" instead!
